Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Shayne Gostisbehere has had an un-real rookie season to this point, and it has Flyers fans and people around the NHL buzzing.
Gostisbehere extended his points streak to 15 games when he scored a goal in overtime versus the Toronto Maple Leafs to help the Flyers win 5-4, giving the team a much needed W.
Gostisbehere now has 34 points on the year to go with 12 goals and 22 assists. It was the 4th overtime goal this year for Gostisbehere, putting him in this exclusive club:

Anytime you’re mentioned in the same sentence as Sidney Crosby, it’s pretty special.
“Ghost” as he is called also has the longest point streak by a defenseman since Chris Chelios back in 1995-1996.

The Flyers were also able to get goals out of Sam Gagner, Jakub Voracek, Brayden Schenn, and Matt Read to help the cause of being the Maple Leafs and Mike Babcock. Scott Laughton also had a two assist night for Philly.
