Former NBA player Rex Chapman has been arrested for allegedly stealing 14,000 dollars in Apple products from an Apple Store. Scottsdale police say Ron Chapman is alleged to have stolen items from the Apple Store at the Scottsdale Quarter on seven different occasions in the past months. Apple Store employees told Scottsdale police that Ron Chapman picked up items in the Apple store then made it appear that he was paying for them using a checkout system on an iPhone app. He would then leave the store without purchasing the items. Chapman was the 8th pick in the 1998 draft by the Charlotte Hornets. Chapman played for Charlotte until 1992 then went to the Washington Bullets (Present day Washington Wizards) and he was there until 1995. Rex then spent one year with the Miami Heat and after that year Chapman played till 2000 for the Phoenix Suns then retried.
Chapman averaged 14.6 points per game, 2.7 assists and 2.5 rebounds in his NBA career. Chapman made the NBA All-Second Rookie team in 1988 and was a member of the Team USA 1987 team that won Sliver.
