Chances are, the Miami Heat wouldn’t have done the Goran Dragic trade if they weren’t confident that they would be able to re-sign him once the NBA off-season roles around. According to multiple sources, the Miami Heat plan on signing Dragic to a max contract over 5 years, which would give him at least 100 million.
The Heat would not have done this trade for Dragic without feeling good that he re-signs this summer. Expectation is he'll get a 5-year max

Dragic showed that things in South Beach are off to a good start with the following tweet.
NOW it's #heatnation time and I'm excited to bring the Dragon's fire to Miami!!

Hopefully for the Heat and their fans, Dragic will stay in Miami for years to come.
