Reports earlier today indicated that the Charlotte Hornets and the Los Angeles Clippers were talking about a trade involving guard Lance Stephenson. According to Marc Stein of ESPN, the Hornets and Clippers have agreed in principle to trade Stephenson to the Clippers in-exchange for Matt Barnes and Spencer Hawes. The trade is expected to be official later tonight.

The Hornets are expected to waive Matt Barnes as he is due over three million dollars next season. Stephenson will be a huge jackpot for the Clippers if he can play like he did with the Pacers in 2013-2014.
