Jack Eichel Becomes 2nd Teenager in Sabers History With Multiple Two Plus Goal Games

The Buffalo Sabers lost 4-3 to the Detroit Red Wings last night, but their second overall pick in 19-year-old center Jack Eichel shined brightly yet again, getting his 12th, and 13th goal on the year in the span of three minutes.

Those two goals gave Eichel his second ever NHL two-plus goal game. Since he is only 19-years-old, he is listed as a teenager that’s a rookie, and he became the first teenager in Buffalo history since Pierre Turgeon to record multiple two goal games, as Turgeon did it from 1988-1989.

In addition to the two goal game, Eichel has been rolling as of late:

In addition to his 13 goals on the year, Eichel has 12 assists, 25 points, and 126 shots on goal on the year in 39 games.
