The Philadelphia 76ers used the third pick in the 2015 NBA Draft to draft Jahlil Okafor, one of the best centers during the college basketball season coming out of Duke University. Okafor was ranked by many, us included, the best center in the draft. He knows that’s part of the reason the 76ers took him with a top five pick.
“My role is to dominate,” Okafor told Michael Lee of the Washington Post. “I’m one of the centerpieces of the team, so my role is the same.”
Okafor showed the ‘domination’ during the NBA Summer League, averaging 15.8 points and 8.4 rebounds. He’s an offensive machine, and the 76ers need offense. They ranked 30th in offensive efficiency last year, the worst in the NBA.
