Despite last weeks news, top quarterback prospect Jameis Winston won’t be visiting the New York Jets like we originally all thought he would be. According to ESPN’s Rich Cimini, the two sides had been struggling to schedule a meeting together, so they decided to scrap the idea of the meeting now.

The meeting more than likely would have been useless for the Jets anyway, as they own the number 6th pick in the draft. Winston is supposed to be gone by the time the Jets pick. The Jets have also met with four other quarterback prospects. Those are, Marcus Mariota, Bryce Petty, Brett Hundley, and Garrett Grayson.
