After originally being thought as out for the season with a stress fracture in his foot, Boston Celtics forward/center Jared Sullinger will be available to play in the Celtics game on Friday versus the Milwaukee Bucks, as team president Danny Ainge announced today that Sullinger’s injury has fully healed.
“We are excited that Jared’s recovery progressed quicker than initially expected,” said Ainge. “Jared was extremely diligent in his rehab, repeatedly expressing his eagerness to help our team reach the postseason. He will be available in a limited role this weekend as he works his way back to 100 percent game shape.”
Sullinger is averaging 14.4 points , 8.1 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game for the Celtics this season.
