Dante Exum was the 5th overall pick by the Utah Jazz in the 2015 NBA Draft. Exum’s rookie season was far from spectacular, playing in all 82 games, starting half of them, Exum averaged 4.8 points, 2.4 assists, and 1.6 rebounds per game with a 34.9% field goal. Exum has spent the Summer getting better, but this following injury he suffered in an Australia-Slovenia game might slow it.
The Jazz have released a statement on Exum’s non-contact left knee injury:
Exum has returned to the bench in the game with his leg stretched out and his knee wrapped up heavily and crutches. Hopefully, the return to the bench means it’s not as serious as it appeared at first.
