Antonio Cromartie returned to the New York Jets this season, along with Darrelle Revis, but he didn’t plan an injury to be part of his return.
In today’s Jets-Browns game, Cromartie found himself covering Travis Benjamin on one particular play, which resulted in Benjamin catching Johnny Manziel’s first NFL touchdown pass. Then, on the next drive, he hurt himself on this following non-contact play:
The Jets have provided no further details other then the fact that Cromartie’s return is doubtful. The Jets are using Buster Skrine to replace Cromartie right now.
