Another member of the Bulls back court has suffered an injury. According Yahoo Sports’ Adrian Wojanrowski, Chicago Bulls all-star shooting guard Jimmy Butler will miss 3-4 weeks with an elbow sprain. Butler suffered the injury in the Bulls’ 96-86 lost to the Los Angeles Clippers. Butler is expected to not need surgery, as the sprain should heal on it’s own.
Butler is currently averaging 20.1 points, 3.3 assists, and 5.9 rebounds per game in 55 games this season with the Bulls. He is a canidate for the NBA’s most improved player, and will join Derrick Rose on the injury report for the next few weeks.
