John Wall on Returning for Game Five: “I don’t know yet”

Washington Wizards point guard John Wall is still listed as questionable on the Wizards injury report for game five versus the Atlanta Hawks and according to Wall himself, he will need full confidence in his ability and body during game five and the rest of the NBA Playoffs to play.

Per J. Michael of CSN Washington:

Just in case anyone thinks John Wall has a strong chance of playing in pivotal Game 5 vs. the Atlanta Hawks tonight, it doesn’t seem likely. He will see a doctor before tipoff.

“I don’t know yet,” said Wall. “Able to do some dribbling yesterday and a little bit more today.”

“If you’re not confident in your ability to do what you want to do there’s no point in playing,” Wall said. “Hopefully I can get some work in before the game and see early on what my mind-set is and how confident I am because I don’t want to go out there and not be able to help these guys.”

Game five will be huge for the Washington Wizards, but it looks as though Wall will have to sit this one out due to his hand injury.
