The Cleveland Browns will be without their 1st round draft pick in their final game of the season. The Browns today announced that quarterback Johnny Manziel, who suffered a hamstring injury in the Browns lost to the Carolina Panthers will not play again for the Browns in the year 2014.
Johnny Football finishes his rookie season 35-75, 175 passing yards, 2 interceptions, 9 carries 29 yards, 1 touchdown, 1 fumble. Browns QB Brian Hoyer is also questionable with a right shoulder injury.
The Browns have also called Rex Grossman seeing if he had any interest playing for them this week, but that is highly unlikely to happen. Connor Shaw could get his chance to shine, an un-drafted rookie who could be a starter for the Browns this week. If they don’t sign a backup QB, however.
Johnny Manziel said this season has motivated him
“This has motivated me more to head into this offseason,” Manziel said.
