On November 29th, 2014, the Oakland Athletics traded away all-star third basemen Josh Donaldson to the Toronto Blue Jays in-exchange for third basemen Brett Lawrie and three other players. The trade was one of the questionable moves that Athletics general manger Billy Beane made throughout the off-season. It appears Donaldson likes life as a Blue Jay, however, as he crushed his first Blue Jay home run in the Jay’s spring training game versus the Philles.
