Justise Winslow Suffers Ankle Injury in Summer League Loss vs. Celtics

Miami Heat rookie shooting guard/small forward Justise Winslow left the Heat’s 101-69 loss to the Boston Celtics in the Las Vegas Summer League with what the Heat are describing as a slight left ankle sprain. While it’s not as severe as it could’ve been, the Heat are likely to dial down Winslow’s minutes even more like they already have.

Winslow was the 10th pick in the 2015 NBA Draft by the Heat, and is averaging 14.5 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 3 assists per game between the Orlando and Las Vegas Summer League.
