The San Antonio Spurs are more then likely without the 2014 Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard for the remainder of their preseason and could miss the beginning of the regular season. Leonard’s infection is in his left eye and is reported to be sidelined for 10 days which make him miss the season opener for the Spurs and depending on how bad it becomes could linger into early to mid November.
Splitter and Leonard were both on the floor at the end of shootaround today, so I'd wager they're getting close(r). Will ask Pop tonight.

Here’s some good news that Kawhi could be ready to play, but it seems unlikely to this point.
Leonard exploded in the NBA playoffs which included him winning the Finals MVP and is a huge part to the Spurs this season if they plan to repeat.
