Kevin Durant Out for Season With Foot Injury

There was hope in Oklahoma City that Kevin Durant would be able to play again this season. That is now out of the question for Durant, as he will undergo bone graft surgery in his right foot that will keep him out 4-6 months, thus ending his season. Durant has been experiencing pain in the foot all season after breaking the foot last off-season.

Durant will end up missing 55 games this season. Durant previously only missed 16 games in seven years in the league. The Thunder are one game above 500 without Durant this season, as they are 23-22 on the season.

Durant was averaging 25.4 points and 6.6 rebounds per game this season in 27 games for the Thunder this year.
