LaVine and Oladpio Bring Excitement Back to Dunk Contest

Coming into the 2014-2015 All-Star weekend, many people were not excited about the Sprite Slam Dunk contest. Minnesota Timberwolves guard Zach LaVine and Orlando Magic guard Victor Oladipo helped change that attitude really quick. LaVine posted two perfect 50’s with his first 2 dunks giving him a perfect 100 overall, and Oladipo had near perfect dunks.

Here’s one of Victor Oladipo’s best dunks below.

Lavine, however, took over the contest with one spectacular dunk.

The rest of LaVine’s night, was a 100 million dollar performance.

LaVine spoke on his dunk contest afterwards.

“I’m still on cloud nine. I feel like I’m dreaming,” LaVine said after the dunk contest. “Seeing all the dunk contests and people hoisting the trophy, I just saw myself do it and lived it, so it’s a dream come true. I’m glad my family is here to witness it and go through it.”

Sure Mason Plumlee and Giannis Antetokounmpo has some amazing dunks, but Victor Oladipo and Zach LaVine made you as excited as you would be if LeBron James joined the dunk contest one year.
