Live: Mets and Dodgers Battle for NLCS Berth in Game 5 of NLDS

Are you ready for the third game five that baseball’s division series has to offer? We sure are. We’ve seen some wild game fives already, and this one could shape up to be another. We have the New York Mets going for their first birth to the NLCS since 2006 and the Dodgers for the first time since 2013. One NLCS drought will broken tonight.

Pitching will like decide who wins tonight, and it’s promising to be a pitching match-up for the ages.

We have Mets ace Jacob deGrom on the mound taking on Dodgers cy young candidate Zack Greinke, who both combine for one of the lowest earned run averages all-time in a postseason match-up. Below are the starting lineups for each team.

Daniel Murphy comes through again! This time, he hits a solo shot off of Greinke to give the Mets the lead.
