Louisiana State University sophomore Jarell Martin is leaving school a bit early, as he will head off to the NBA this Summer in hopes of getting a shot in the NBA. The final date for other players to declare for the draft is April 26th, but Martin only has till April 12th to pull out of joining the NBA if he wants.
Martin called the decision to declare for the NBA Draft not easy, as we are sure he wish that he could stay, but sometimes you have to go pro before it can be too late. Martin averaged 16.9 points and 9.2 rebounds at his final year at Louisiana State, and was a member of he SEC’s all-first team.
LSU was knocked out of the Round of 64 by North Carolina State in this year’s tournament.
