Just when you thought the Miami Heat couldn’t get even more bad news, look what shows up. Heat small forwards Luol Deng and Michael Beasley have dealt with knee problems all season, and now it could more then likely end their 2014-20145 season for good, according to Ira Winderman of the Sun Sentinel. Deng and Beasley are the Heat’s two main small forwards on their roster with Henry Walker and James Ennis backing them up.

If their seasons are indeed over after the MRI results come in, Deng and Beasley would join Josh McRoberts, Chris Bosh, and Shabazz Napier on the list of Heat players that are out for the season. Deng and Beasley would also added to the injuries of the Heat’s only two centers in Hassan Whiteside and Chris Andersen.

Deng is averaging 14.2 points, and 1.9 assists, and 5.0 rebounds per game in 67 games with the Heat this season, while Beasley is averaging 7.9 points, 1.2 assists, and 3.5 rebounds per game in 19 games with the Heat this season as well.
