Frustration is really starting to show for the Miami Heat now. Shooting guard Dwyane Wade was among the frustrated bunch in the Heat’s locker room Thursday night as they were blown out by the Cavaliers. Wade’s backup and Mario Chalmers was another one of the members of the furstrated group, as Chalmers is now unclear as to what his role on the Heat is.
“I don’t even really know what my role is on this team anymore,” Chalmers said in an interview with the Miami Herald.“I don’t know what I’m supposed to be doing”
Chalmers role has been flipped flopped the entire season, as he went from backing up Norris Cole, to starting, to backing up Dwyane Wade and Goran Dragic.
“I don’t know,” Chalmers said. “It’s something I’ve never experienced before. This is something new to a lot of people on this team, but we’ve got to make it work.”
Chalmers re-signed with the Heat on a two-year deal last Summer, and is averaging 10.6 points, 4 assists, and 2.6 rebounds per game for the Heat this season in 74 games, which include 37 starts.
