Mets Rookie Noah Syndergaard Losses Perfect Game in 6th Inning vs. Padres

Noah Syndergaard has been really good for the Mets in his rookie season. The 22-year-old Syndergaard came into his start tonight  4-5 on the season with a 2.76 earned run average and 89 strikeouts. Through six innings of his start against the San Diego Padres, he was perfect. Will Venable changed that the very next inning, however.

Syndegaard still finish the game as strong as you can be, going eight innings without giving up a run, and with him at 107 pitches, he’s done for tonight. Great outing.
