Not to long ago, the Nets placed their all-star trio of Deron Williams, Joe Johnson, and Brook Lopez on the trading block. There has been rumors swirling about all 3 of them, but nothing has gotten done yet. Now, another rumor has started up about a possible Brook Lopez trade with the Heat being the most interested in the big man.
Sure, Lopez has a history of injuries, but it would give the Heat a true center, which would allow them to move all-star Chris Bosh back to his original position of power forward.
Lopez currently is averaging 14.7 points, 6.4 rebounds, 1.6 blocks per game this season and could give some tips to Miami’s youngster Hassan Whiteside.
