Below are the Miami Heat’s financial commitments through the 2021-2022 NBA season. Star center Hassan Whiteside is currently Miami’s highest paid player, with a four-year, $98 million contract under his belt.
Salary cap notes:
Blue – Designates that a player has a player option for that season
Orange – Designates that the team has a club option for that season
Gray – Designates a non-guaranteed salary for that season
Miami will be paying power forward Chris Bosh until 2022 after the NBA allowed the Heat to clear Bosh’s five-year, $118 million deal from the salary cap that had a little over $52.1 million remaining on it. Bosh will be paid by Miami in 120 twice-monthly installments of $434,393, per NBA salary cap expert Albert Nahmad. Miami’s first payment to Bosh will be on November 15, 2017. The last payment to Bosh from the Heat will occur on November 1, 2022.
