Below are the Milwaukee Brewers’ financial commitments through the 2022 MLB season. Star outfielder Ryan Braun is currently Milwaukee’s highest paid player, with a five-year, $105 million contract under his belt.
Payroll notes:
Green – Designates that a player has a vesting option for that season
PurpleĀ – Designates that the team has a team option for that season
Red – Indicates that a player is eligible for one of the stages of salary arbitration
Orange – Indicates that a player is under team control for that particular season
Once Braun’s contract expires with Milwaukee, he will make $4 million in 2021, and then $1.8 million every year until 2031.
Milwaukee is also prohibited from utilizing the minor league option in first baseman/outfielder Eric Thames‘ contract due to a special clause.
