Ex-Pistons forward Greg Monroe cashed in today, inking a 3 year max deal with the Bucks worth $50m and includes a player option in the third year.

Despite being in a crowded frontcourt with Andre Drummond, Monroe averaged 15.9 points and 10.2 boards per game last season in Detroit. Drummond and Monroe have similar playing styles, so each should have more space to work with in the paint, and both should benefit.
Monroe was previously linked to the Knicks and Lakers, however, the Bucks had the money to throw at him. The Bucks are making their own splash this offseason, previously re-signing Khris Middleton to a 5 year $70m deal. They will hope these moves can get them back to the playoffs.
