National League Cy Young: Jake Arrieta, SP, Chicago Cubs
Sorry, Zack Greinke, Jake Arrieta has been crazy dominate all year, and especially in the second half of the season. Arrieta has overcame so many struggles in his career to get to the point he is at now, and I never thought I would be putting Cy Young winner by his name. He is 21-6 on the season with a 1.88 earned run average and 229 strikeouts stretched over 223 innings. He has 4 complete games and 3 shutouts this year, and he owns a 0.44 earned run average since August 1st, and and 0.80 earned run average since after the all-star break.
