Nationals Star Bryce Harper Hits First Homer Since July 20th vs. Rockies

Washington Nationals star Bryce Harper entered yesterday’s Nationals-Rockies game without a homer since July 20th, but pretty much everyone in baseball forgot that after this mammoth blast:

Per Statcast, Harper’s bomb traveled 461 feet off of Christian Bergman in the 5th inning. Unfortunately for Harper, the homer was in a losing effort, as the Nationals ended up losing the game 12-10.

Harper is now batting .241/.383/.455 with 21 homers and 62 RBIs on the year.
