NBA Suspends Hassan Whiteisde One Game for Elbowing Boban Marjanovic

The NBA has officially suspended Miami Heat center Hassan Whiteside one game for an incident that occured on Tuesday night when Whiteside elbowed Spurs big man Boban Marjanovic.

That ejection was Whiteside’s 3rd in under a calendar year, as people have now begun to question his maturity again after he let his frustrations get the best of him yet again.

Whiteside is the 2nd Heat player that has seen some type of suspension this season. The Heat suspended forward Gerald Green for conduct detrimental to the team back in November.

The Heat next play on February 19th versus the Atlanta Hawks in Atlanta. The Heat beat the Hawks 107-85 without an injured Whiteside in Miami back on January 31st with Amar’e Stoudemire starting alongside Chris Bosh and Luol Deng in the backcourt with Dwyane Wade and Goran Dragic in the backcourt. You can expect to see that same lineup.

Whiteside is averaging 12.2 points, 11 rebounds, and 3.9 blocks per game this season.
