In the wake of the NFL scandal with Ray Rice and other NFL players, NBA commissioner Adam Silver says the NBA will take a look at their domestic violence policies and make any changes necessary. Major League Baseball, National Hockey League, and the National Basketball association don’t have specific polices on domestic violence and the MLB has also announced they will change their policy and Sliver has followed.

Sliver has also listed why he is considering this mostly out of the fear it doesn’t happen in the NBA:

We should expect a a domestic violence policy by the end of September.
