Quarterback Everett Golson announced late last week that he was transferring from the University of Notre Dame. The Fighting Irish however, will be restricting Golson from transferring to any of the schools they play this year including Texas according to Fox Sports’ Bruce Feldman.
So unless Golson’s new team plays Notre Dame in a bowl game, Golson will not play Notre Dame in 2015. The schools that are expected to restricted to transfer to are: Texas, Virginia, Georgia Tech, UMass, Clemson, USC, Navy, Temple, Pittsburgh, Wake Forest, Boston College, and Stanford. Golson’s two main schools that have been linked to him transferring to are: South Carolina and Georgia.
