Packers’ Randall Cobb (Hamstring) Won’t Play vs. Falcons

The Green Bay Packers will be without wide receiver Randall Cobb for their match-up today against the Atlanta Falcons due to a hamstring, a source told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Green Bay is reportedly being careful with Cobb, who suffered the hamstring injury in their 26-10 win over the Bears ten days ago. He has previously been listed on the Packers’ injury report the last two weeks with a separate injury.

Wide receiver Ty Montgomery, who has become a key component in the Packers offense recently, is listed on the Packers’ injury report as questionable with an illness. He will also not play, per multiple reports.

With Cobb out, wide receivers Jeff Janis, Trevor Davis, and Geronimo Allison are candidates to see extra snaps. Jordy Nelson and Davante Adams will both have their workload increased.

Cobb has 39 catches for 388 yards and two touchdowns this season.
