Mason Crosby has spent his first ten NFL seasons with the Packers, and if the four-year, $16.1 million deal he signed earlier today is any indication, he will have at least 14 NFL seasons played for the Packers in his career.
Crosby’s agent, Mike McCartney confirmed the deal via Twitter:
Crosby was 24-for-28 on field goals last season, hitting 4 50+ field goals. He also had 36 extra points made (not missing one) after they were a minor problem for him in 2014, racking up a total of 108 points for the Packers.
Crosby’s deal will include a $5 million signing bonus in addition to the $16.1 million spread out over four years. He is now the third-highest paid kicker in the league. Only Ravens kicker Justin Tucker and Patriots kicker Stephen Gostkowski make more money.
