With the overload of running backs the Carolina Panthers have, the team has decided to cut DeAngelo Williams according to NFL Network’s Albert Breer. Williams spent the last 9 years with the Panthers and had 2 seasons with over 1 thousand yards in his career. The move will free up over 6.5 million for the Panthers in cap space.
Williams will likely picked be picked up by a team needing a running back, as he has found the end zone 46 times in 1,432 career rushing attempts.
