Paul George Hopeful to Return in the 2014-2015 Season if Pacers Make the Playoffs

Paul George sounded very hopeful of his chance of playing this season, but of course with him being hopeful, the Pacers would have to make the playoffs without him. The Pacers chances at the playoffs are now little to none with the injury to George and Lance Stephenson’s departure from Indiana. Like they say, anything is possible:

“Everything happens for a reason,” George said. “It gave me a chance to be in the weight room and spend more time in there. I’ve got to use this as a blessing. Its tough to say you got hurt for a reason, but I honestly think I did. Now everything is starting to come back for me. I’m feeling great. I’ve been cleared to be in the weight room and work out. That’s been keeping me positive and sane.”

George suffered this gruesome leg injury in Team USA’s scrimmage game on August 1st.
