Pelicans, Davis Agree to Extension Worth 145 Million

The New Orleans Pelicans have just locked by rising superstar Anthony Davis to a five-year 145 million dollar deal according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports. The extension was rumored to be happening this Summer when it was reported by Marc Stein of ESPN that Davis would get an extension worth up to 150 million.

Davis averaged 24.4 points, 10.2 rebounds, and 2.9 blocks per game for the Pelicans during the 2014-2015 season. Welcome to NBA free agency, people.
