Jared Goff and the Los Angeles Rams have officially put pen to paper on a contract, making Goff the 9th top ten selection to sign his rookie level deal.

Goff will receive a $18.6 million signing bonus in addition to his four-year $27.9 million contract after being selected number one overall by the Rams in the 2016 NFL Draft back in April.
The 21-year-old is the favorite to start week one for the Rams with Nick Foles and Case Keenum as his competition. Keenum replaced Foles as the team’s starting quarterback late in the 2015 season, and Foles has been skipping all Rams related events since the team decided to draft Goff.
Goff completed 62.3% of his passes during his three-year career at California. Goff tossed 96 touchdowns during his college career with 43 of them coming last year in his Junior season.
