The Jets have a loaded defensive line that features Sheldon Richardson and Leonard Williams, but their best defensive lineman is a free agent this spring in Muhammad Wilkerson.
If the Jets are un-able to get a deal done with Wilkerson, the franchise tag for sure seems like an option here, giving the team more time to work out a long-term deal.
