Ravens CB Jimmy Smith (Back) Listed as Doubtful for Week 11

Baltimore Ravens cornerback Jimmy Smith is doubtful to play Week 11 versus the Dallas Cowboys with a back injury, per the Ravens’ official injury report.

Smith was a limited participant during Ravens practice on Friday after missing the last two days, which is why Ravens head coach John Harbaugh hasn’t entirely ruled out Smith for Sunday’s showdown.

“We’ll just wait and see what the doctors tell us,” Harbaugh said on Friday. “His back tightened up a little bit. We’ll just have to see how it responds – whatever the doctors say. He wants to play, and we’ll know. The fact that he was out here today, I think, is a good sign.”

With Smith expected to be sidelined, Baltimore’s depth at corner takes a significant hit. Cornerback Shareece Wright is questionable for the game with a thigh injury.

The 28-year-old Smith has racked up 28 total tackles and 2 pass deflections this season, grading out as one of the NFL’s best cornerbacks.
