Report: Aroldis Chapman Subject of Trade Talks Between Nationals & Reds

According to Fox Sports’ Jon Morosi, the Washington Nationals and Cincinnati Reds have had trade talk discussions about Reds closer Aroldis Chapman. Although nothing is close yet, sources around both teams expect the trade talks to expand more as the weeks and days pass on by.

Chapman is one of the best in the business in closing games in Major League Baseball because of his deadly fastball. Chapman owns the fastest fastball ever recorded in a Major League game at 106 miles per hour, and has 13 saves with a 2.22 earned run average along with 47 strikeouts this season for the Reds.
