Jake Long was the number one overall pick back in the 2008 NFL Draft by the Miami Dolphins, and he entered his age 30 season without a team, until now, reports ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Former No. 1 overall pick Jake Long is flying to Atlanta today to sign with the Falcons, per source. Atlanta improving up front.

Long worked out with the Falcons over the Summer along with the New York Giants, and the Falcons ultimately decided to take a minor risk with Long, as health is a big issue for him, considering he has torn his ACL before, and did it again last season.
Nonetheless, the four-time Pro Bowler Long can make a difference on the Falcons line if he stays healthy, giving the Falcons a new face on their offensive line.
