For the seventh straight year according to a report by Barry Jackson of the Miami Hearld, the Miami Heat will be playing on Christmas Day. The reported game has the Heat taking on the New Orleans Pelicans in Miami for the game, which will be the Pelicans second ever Christmas Day game. They’re last one was in 2008 when they were the Hornets and lost to the Magic.
Per league source, tentative (not yet definite) NBA schedule in circulation has New Orleans playing the Heat on Christmas in Miami at noon.

One of the leagues best starting lineups in Goran Dragic, Dwyane Wade, Luol Deng, Chris Bosh, and Hassan Whiteside versus one of the league’s best players in Anthony Davis. Should be one of the underrated games of the day. It’s also not surprising that Davis’ team is playing on Christmas, as it would be a smart idea for the NBA to market one of the youngest and best players in the league.
