The Miami Heat have their starting five set in Goran Dragic, Dwyane Wade, Luol Deng, Chris Bosh, and Hassan Whiteside. Now, they face the challenge of re-tooling their bench, and it looks as though Mario Chalmers, Chris Andersen, and maybe even Shabazz Napier aren’t apart of the Heat’s bench re-tooling.

Per Zach Lowe of Grantland:

Mario Chalmers and Chris Andersen are available for nothing, per several league sources, and the Heat have even put out Shabazz Napier feelers with an eye on carving out extra cap room next summer.

Both Andersen and Chalmers have one year left on their contracts, and with Chris Andersen getting older, it wouldn’t hurt to move him to free up cap space for this free agency and 2016 free agency when Pat Riley plans on chasing after Kevin Durant.
