Case Keenum is the current starting quarterback for the Rams, but Schefter notes in his report that the Rams will consider turning to Goff for Week 11 if Keenum struggles against the New York Jets today.
If Los Angeles makes the decision to stick with Keenum another week against Miami, Goff will likely not be under consideration to start until Week 14 against the Atlanta Falcons. The Rams want Goff’s first start to be at home, so that he is warmly welcomed.
In eight starts for the Rams, Keenum has thrown for 2,004 yards while completing 61.5% of his passes. The 28-year-old Keenum has thrown more interceptions (11) than passing touchdowns (9).
