Kevin Durant’s contract isn’t up for another 2 whole seasons of basketball yet and we’re already talking about the places KD could land once his contract is up in 2016. The top rumored place would be his hometown of Washington with the Wizards. This all seems likely due to stars wanting to stay/return to their hometowns (Carmelo Anthony and LeBron James). The Houston Rockets will try their luck at landing Kevin Durant after failing to land LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, and Chris Bosh, all targets for the Rockets this off-season.

The Rockets have a lot of cap space in the coming years. Don’t rule them out.
