Russell Westbrook has joined some elite company. Russell Westbrook was recently named the NBA’s Western Conference player of the month for the month of February. Westbrook averaged a near triple double during the month, averaging 31.2 points. 9.1 rebounds, and 10.3 assists. Speaking of triple doubles, Westbrook recorded his 4th straight triple double tonight versus the 76ers with 49 points, 16 rebounds, and 10 assists.
Russell Westbrook is the first player to have 4 straight triple doubles since the man himself Michael Jordan did in 1998-1999. Well, of course Jordan had more than four, as the streak went on for 7 games. None the less however, it’s still impressive for Westbrook.
Congratulations Russell Westbrook!
