Russell Westbrook originally had his 10th triple double on the season yesterday, as he scored 12 points, grabbed 10 rebounds, and dished out 17 assists in the Thunder’s 93-75 win over the Heat. The NBA however, has stripped Westbrook of that triple double, due to the fact there was an error in his stat line, as Westbrook did not grab 10 rebounds, he grabbed 9.
An official review by the NBA has determined that Russell Westbrook had nine rebounds Sunday against Miami. It takes away his triple-double.

The rebound in question was an off. rebound midway through the 2nd quarter, a D.J. Augustin miss. It has been credited to Hassan Whiteside.

But don’t worry, the NBA isn’t taking away anymore of Westbrook’s triple doubles this season.
Officially, Westbrook will now be credited for 12 points, nine rebounds and 17 assists against Miami. He has nine triple-doubles this season

We’re sure Westbrook will end up getting his 10th triple double pretty soon anyways.
