After starting spring training 0-13, Milwaukee Brewers star right fielder Ryan Braun has picked up his game drastically, as Braun is batting .565 since the 0-13 slump, with three home runs and 8 runs batted in. Braun had the worst full season of his career last season, as he hit .266 with 19 home runs and 81 driven in, but Braun was dealing with a nagging thumb injury that he didn’t get fixed until the off-season. Braun proclaimed throughout the Winter that his thumb is 100%, and now with Spring Training almost in the books, Braun has declared his sweet swing to be back.
“We’re in an era where offense is increasingly challenging and I think the two most important things as a hitter are your eyes and your hands,” Braun said. “Certainly, it feels good to be in a place where I’m healthy and I can take a regular swing.”
All eyes will be on the Brewers outfielder this season.
