Jimmer Fredette hasn’t lived up the hype in the NBA. He has been a member of the Sacramento Kings, the Chicago Bulls, and the New Orleans Pelicans, but could never find the success he had in college at BYU. The San Antonio Spurs are giving Fredette a chance to prove himself, as the team will invite him to training camp with a chance to make the team.

Fredette, who is a great shooter has a chance to thrive in the Spurs system similar to the way that Marco Belinelli thrived. All they ask is that you play to your strengths, and with the Spurs always after shooting, that’s just what Fedrette brings. Fredette averaged 3.6 points and 1.2 assists in an average of 10.2 minutes per game in 55 games with the Pelicans.
